Klaviyo for PrestaShop 1.6

This is the official Klaviyo module for PrestaShop 1.6 only.

Developed by Nukium, this module has been fully tested and validated by Klaviyo.

To install Klaviyo on PrestaShop 1.7, follow this guide.

Installation

This module does not require any special installation procedure, just follow the classic PrestaShop module installation procedure. You can for example directly import the module ZIP from your PrestaShop backoffice.

⚠️ Please note: you do not need to enable PrestaShop integration in your Klaviyo account, this module uses custom integration.

Once the module is installed, you need to set up your Klaviyo public key and create a private API key with all permissions.

To update the module, simply upload the ZIP again from the PrestaShop Module Manager.

Supported Events

The events are triggered when a user creates a customer account, logs in or subscribes to the newsletter from the "blocnewsletter" module of PrestaShop.

Some events may be sent to the server side to improve data quality.

GDPR / Consent management

The module synchronizes the native PrestaShop 1.6 "newsletter subscription" concept with Klaviyo. This is true from the account creation but also from the native "blocknewsletter" module.

Indeed, subscribers who have given their consent via PrestaShop will be synchronized in a Klaviyo list that you can choose in the module configuration.

Note that you can set this list to simple or double opt-in from the Klaviyo dashboard.

If you select double opt-in, Klaviyo will send a new subscription confirmation email to each list member. In this case, consent will then be taken again on the Klaviyo side.
